Career Advice
Unfortunately recruiters often get people applying for roles which are far beyond their education, work experience and experience in life. Graduates who would like to be the GM of a 1,000 room hotel with 15 F&B outlets; it is unrealistic and 99% of the time wasting everybody's time.
Therefore, applicants should have a plan of their next steps. Why do you want to become a F&B manager, how do you see yourself grow into that role? What if you are the F&B manager in 5 years, what's next?
It is always good to have a long term career perspective. Better to have a plan which changes along the way, than no plan at all. So do invest time (and money) in talking to someone who has been there, and done it before, to get a better view of your preferred path.
Visas
When applying for a job, make sure you have the correct visa, or know how to obtain them and how long it can (and does) take if you need to apply for one. Quite often you'll find more information about required visa in the job description.

Be Yourself
The best chance of getting the job, staying in the job and becoming successful in the company is to be yourself during the interview, and when starting the job. Too many times, people pretend to be someone else, get the job but fail very soon after. Remember this is a waste of everybody's time, bad for future references and a deception for all parties involved.
